Actually, my brother works at the homeless shelter every Christmas, serving dinner.
He also makes turkey and stuffing sandwiches every Thanksgiving (dozens of them) and drives the Cass corridor in Detroit, handing them out (w/his gun on the seat next to him).
He's a school teacher now, but has been doing this since his biker days.
