I just came across this tool. At first look it looks like the normal wordtracker, but once you've performed a search, if you click on the bar graph in the last column under "G", it will show you the number of actual visitors a day to the number on ranked site.

I'm sure there is a lot more that it can be used for, but that's what I know so far.

If you want things to change around you, you have to change first.

Yes, I use that tool daily, Google trends is a killer site.

Here's another one:

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

Google, in the last week, has begun to display actual numbers of searches for this tool, where before they only gave an approximation.

This tool is probably the most useful SEO tool on the web if you think about it.

For example if you type in a keyword, Google is telling you the search volume for that and any related terms, and at the bottom it is giving you a list of all the terms that people who are searching for that phrase are also looking for.

Essentially, they are telling you EXACTLY what they are are looking for in a page when someone does a search for your keyword... they are handing you a blueprint for content for that phrase.

When I create content, I take the phrase I want to rank for, plop it into that tool and make sure I get all the important phrases covered off in my story...it works

Thanks for reminding me. I had seen that one and hadn't yet looked at it.

I liked the fact that Google has gone from green fields to actual numbers. Big change and a very good change. I salute Google. Makes my advertising a whole lot easier (you where almost forced to visit third party websites in order to see number statistics before this change took place).

If you want to blow your mind, enter you keyword and then click

"Show All" under where it says "Choose columns to display:"

You'll be amazed at the data there.

Jonleehacker - interesting data there - thanks.

Here is another site which uses data from Wordtracker, Google, Yahoo and MSN combined in a pretty easy to use format.
