Was it this?
Forum won't let me post websites (I have GOT to trade in my Yugo!) Do a search here on "Buying and Selling Existing Websites"
Along with forums.digitalpoint dot com, may I suggest bizmp.com, which aggregates from a number of webmaster forums, Webhostingtalk dot com (you will need to search through it for "site for sale"), and Websitebroker dot com
I have heard that some Host Providers have forums where their site owners can post sites they have for sale. I have not verified...
You can google this => +"hosting" +"established sites for sale" -sitepoint
Here is another thing to try...
Although I am new to the Site Buying/Selling side of things, I would approach it the way I approach my real estate investing. If I see a house in disrepair, I write a note to the owner with my contact information and express interest in buying their house. There are numerous tools to evaluate sites out there (websitegrader dot com is one). Pick a niche you find interesting, Google some relevant keywords for the niche, and look at the results but in reverse order in the google listings - start from the last page. Find a low ranking site that looks interesting and do as much due dilligence on it as you can. If it is promising, send them an email telling them that you may be interested in buying their site. If they are not interested, tell them to keep your contact info in case they ever decide to sell.
One last idea...as I was typing this, I went over to godaddy and checked "Ibuywebsites dot com" - taken, but "iwillbuyyourwebsite dot com" was not (unless some smart guy who is reading this has taken it! I am not interested) But you can brainstorm variations of this concept, if it was taken. This is how I got my rental - bandit signs (We buy houses). Why not extend that to the web? I'm kinda lazy, let them come to me if they are interested in selling

. If you are serious, market the site and vet everyone who submits their sites to you for sale - or hey, set up a forum that will list their sites for a fee...
Hope this stimulates some ideas...
