Here is a great video by Gary Vaynerchuk where he talks about how he built his WineLibrary TV video blog. If you don't know this is a great guy, a great example of how to build your business. Watch it :

Everyone should watch his vids a few times, if you guys love this one I'll link more videos from him!

Enjoy

I've been reading several articles lately that have discussed the rise (and decline) of blogs - as far as making money from them. Basically, it's getting harder and harder to do so. Definitely not impossible, but a lot harder. The money people DO make from writing blogs is not so much the blogs themselves as it is selling products or services associated with the blog. IOW, the blog itself is secondary. There was even a discussion on here a few months back about it.

Here is one such article.

I come from that camp as well that the Blog Rush (insofar as making the big $$ just from blogging) is over and that they should be used as secondary tools. I have a blog and I don't update it. I update my Twitter, Facebook, and here. The early adapters made a lot of money; now when grandma has a blog, you know the space is overused ... reminds me of EBay ... the early adapters made the bread, now its saturated.

I see your point, I kinda agree with you. I myself have a blog as a tool to communicate with people and create a place for my visitors. I will leverage it's popularity then (trying to build a brand) to sell my own product or online coaching. So I'm focusing on online business more myself. Anyway Gary V is an incredible guy and you watch his stuff I guarantee you will learn good stuff (plus he has a book coming or already published which should be a good read). He and Fastlane has a similar philosophy on creating business (just this forum concentrates on speed more)
Combine both and you have a great source of info!

Yea, I like GaryV's "in your face" attitude. He seems like a great guy to have a beer with ... or in his case, a nice 2001 Chilean Shiraz.
