How do you guys find them? I've been googling for 2 days now and I've found some, but they don't ever have quite the products that I'm looking for. Is there a quality directory site that lists dropshippers, or should I just try contacting the manufacturers directly?

This thread should help you.

How I find suppliers for my Ecommerce Stores

Also: don't trust lists from google. Most of those are just marked up lists and not legitimate sources of wholesalers.

If you're looking for dropshipping advice check out that thread or anything from biophase for that matter

He also has a blog and there's dbaker89 who also started an ecommerce site at a young age

Well I just e-mailed a ton of companies asking about wholesale pricing and dropshipping. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

get on the phone and call some people. this business is not easy, so if you can't put the effort in now don't expect to turn some good money out of it.

The FIRST thing you need is a tax ID... otherwise they won't even talk to you. You may find one or two that don't need it, but most legitimate wholesalers will. This also shows them that you are serious about being in business and not just waisting their time.
