This is an awesome article for those of us who write. I am finding this book project is not much different than running an internet business ... the process is virtually the same ... product, research your target, find and target customers, investment bankers, build a brand ...

Authors and aspiring authors ... take note! The old rules to publishing DO NOT APPLY!! (Tim Ferris is another example of violating the old rules!)

Great article!
Love the bit about publishing
being only 5% of the battle.
That's why I partner with a small press
and focus on marketing.

Totally agree with MJ
about writing
being a business.
