It's beautiful here, yeah.

I love Reno. I can get pretty much anywhere in Ca in a short amount of time, have lots of recreational activities to do, and favorable taxes if you know what I mean .

I would like a copy of your book.

Very good story, I really enjoyed it. You said-
[quote=On the business/real estate front: The real estate market totally exploded during this time. Richard put a crew together and started doing fix and flips. He timed the market perfectly. When it came down (not a real crash…just a gentle downturn), we were out – but a few million richer.
[/quote]
So technically you made a few million in a few years?

Diane thank you for posting your story. There are a lot of points that I had suspected were true and I was delighted to see you validate them. Keep up the great work

Ahh one of my favorites- especially the part about how she knew she'd be a great entrepreneur because she was never a great employee, but most of all, I've been trying like crazy to get my dad to learn from her story as he's trying to maximize his tax biz and even get me into it, something I wouldn't mind doing, I just don't want to get stuck in the "hours for dollars" trap unless of course it's in the realm of public speaking where my time is being spend influencing many instead of just one person at a time.

Diane-Thank you SO MUCH for your success story.
1) LOL about the gold...
2) You just gave me a new personal goal/objective
3) I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that you came up with a solution that was what you wanted, lucrative and most of all, benefited CHARITABLE CAUSES! You are now officially my hero...
