I have a product that's 99.5% complete. In the very short life span I have learned very quickly what type of marketing will work for each certain types of products. I'm thinking about Licensing my product out to 2-3 major companies in my industry it will tie into what they currently use and it will be a great asset for them and gives them an opportunity to make astronomical money. Not only will it make them astronomical money it will destroy a horrible sterotype they have has grace this industry for years and will give the industry a new turn around heading in a more positive direction. My question would be how would I go about licensing my product out what's the proper steps and procedures to take and what should I watch out for?

I have no idea!

I have a close friend who is doing this with his product. He recently got it patented here in the U.S. and internationally (which was not cheap!)

I was at my local Barnes & Nobels on Saturday picking up some more audio books and saw a couple about Licensing your new products. That's probably a good place to start. From what I've experienced on this Forum, the people here won't do the work for you, but they will certainly go out of their way to answer a specific question on how to get around a challenge!
