When we refi'd a few months ago and pulled out a mil, I was kinda tempted to get all of it in cash, for just a few minutes, at the bank.

('tho I'm guessing that they don't just keep that stuff lying around).

Still, it would have been fun.

And no, not the Elliot Spitzer kind of "escort". I meant it more in the sense of a bodyguard...

It made me think of the great trader, Jesse Livermore. Every year, on new years eve, he would go to the bank. He would bring his notes, something to eat, and let the bank manager lock Jesse into the vault over the next 1-2 days. There Jesse would have all his money at his disposal. He would sleep with the green, feel it. It was said he did this to get an actual feel of all the money he had at his disposal and was trading with. I think we can all relate to that. One thing is seeing figures on a screen, having it or even seeing it in real live, completely different

I would never have taken it out of the bank.

Just put us in a secure room, leave us alone w/it, and let us look at it.

Would we have rolled around in it? Don't know. I hate messes.

But cleaning up a million dollars off the floor might have been different.
