Hello all,
I'm new to the site and wanted to say hello. I'm just getting started so no real accomplishments to post so far. My wife and I are in college and the only debt we have are our student loans. I have a couple of years left to finish my degree and plan on never having a job after I graduate. I plan on only having businesses from this point on but my wife will be working as an employee in her field of study, as it's her passion. Maybe later in life we can find a way to turn her passion into a business. I read Rich Dad Poor Dad in 2001 and it changed my outlook. It's been a long way to get to where I am now, but it's been worth it. I'm working hard at changing bad habits. Before reading that book I was unaware that there was anything but working hard as a good employee while getting deeper and deeper into debt to reward myself. I quit framing houses and took a job as a salesman in a hometown lumber company selling material packages to contractors and home owners. I am now comfortable with cold contacts and speaking to people and understand the building end of real estate on a much higher level. My goal is to start a business as soon as possible and invest in real estate, mainly rentals. I look forward to getting to know all of you! Quagzmort |
