I hate filling out these things, there is so much pressure to put something cool and not be a dork, I hate it!
My name is Tim. Age and Location should be listed in my profil. I'm a student of Industrial Engineering. I like competition, money, cars and women. My hobbies are eating (alot of it) and sleeping and trading financial markets. I have been daytrading Forex for a several years now. It all began with a stock market game for kids started by one of the local banks. I had no clue at this point and started randomly adding stocks and options to my portfolio. This was my first contact leveraged products which quickly led my to the Foreign Exchange Market. Since then I have spend 5-6 hours day after day year after year studying the charts reading about fundamental economic indicators and testing strategies. It has taken alot of time until I got profitable and finaly found MY way to beat the market. Afterall only 5 out of 100 retail trades will manage to get a positiv return out of this on the long run. The main reason is because they are impatient want to make millions in the next 2 month from day 1. So they put 5k in some brokers account and fail horribly . [Nothing bad with that untill now] And never ever touch financial markets again. They'd better invest time in learning how to trade. If you really want something you have to cope with every up and down you might experience and stick to your goal. I have always wanted to make money on my own from young age. I've set up some websites packed with advertising and send them to random people over ICQ (basicly kids 14-16). The onlything on my website was some hearts and a fluffy bear and a simple text ("You have been huged by somebody who loves you bblablablablabla) After a few days people started hugging the living shit out of eachother and I got over 1 Million views within a month earning my first internet 1000 Euros. I hope I can help you guys out with my trading knowledge because that's the thing I can do best. That's it for now. Regards, Tim |

Different Story. Maybe I should write alittle bit more about my family background. My grandpa started a very sucessful industrial painting company and worked for the German Railroad Company and others. Someone had to fix all the run down rusty factories and give them a new painting. He quickly expanded and started producing bricks which very also needed badly after WW2 as you can imagine. I have always looked up to him. He was a carpenter before starting his own company. With little money and no real knowledge of the business he earned more money than all of my college friends will ever earn in their lifetime. Still he had enough freetime to hunt and fish or open his own cow farm. Just doing what he wanted to do to make himself happy. He's my biggest idol. I often get the feeling that my friends with no entrepreneual background in their family are raised in a different way and have a completely different understanding of what life should be. They allways think in such a "linear" way. School -> College -> Job -> Retirement -> Death. Maybe they are just to scared to use the fastlane. I mean they could hit a tree and die while using the bicycle they'd probably get away with a small bruise. |
