Hi Guys,

I Hold BSc in IT and already on $80K+ salary, I‘m thinking of pursuing MBA or

2 years (top-up) degree in Finance / and or Banking,

My question is which one will help me in becoming millionaire quicker? Please advice!

PS: My long term plan is to have my own business and I’m currently 27 years old.

Many Thanks for reading.

I think you are looking at the situation all wrong. You should read MJ's post on entrepreneural premise.

Success cannot be attained from how fast you can get rich. Success is attained from the several listed

1. Positive mind set
2. Purpose in life
3. Daily goal setting and achievement
4. fear conquering
5. perseverance
6. Motivation
7. visualization
etc...............

Once you have established what you love to do, then take daily steps in pursing this aspect. You have to find a purpose in living, its the only way to become wealthy. You see, my purpose in life at the tender age of 21 is too help millions of people across the globe develop a positive mind and change their mind sets for the better. The money is coming and i know it. But i cannot motivate me. What keeps me motivated is the my ability to love helping people succeed, where i used to fail. Having the chance to give back , for all that GOD has given me in my short time on this earth. I know tomorrow isn't promised but someday i will reach my goal. But that will not be the end. NO NO NO! I will continue to move daily into bigger and better goals each and every day.

So I ask you JIM , What gives you the best sense of joy?
What can you see yourself doing to for the rest of your life?
One you find it, make daily steps toward it, THINK BIG and never give up!

The previous posters have it right.

THe answer to your question is "neither one".

Your MINDSET is most important.

After than, ACTION.

Then, FOLLOW-THROUGH.

But before you do anything, you need to have a PLAN.

-Russ H.

PS There are great threads on these forums that will take you through each one of these. Start w/Mindset, then go to PLAN. Good luck.

Hi LamboMP thanks for the reply ! I fully undrestand and agree MJ's point

"Money is a like a mischievous cat; if you chase it around the neighborhood, it eludes you-- hiding up a tree, behind the rose bush, or in the garden. However, if you ignore it and focus on what attracts the cat other than the cat itself, it will come to you and sit right in your lap."

same principle applies when it comes to pulling girls in a club/bar

Hi imcmillionaire thanks for your reply, there was a time in my life when I used to think money is everything and can truly make me happy!

I have truly experienced that money can bring comfort and help us in quickly pursuing our goals (must of the times) but does not always guarantee happiness! Even though it can indirectly lead to happiness, but again it does not guarantee happiness!

One of the things in life which truly makes me happy is succeeding in my career and becoming financially independent and having enough money to pursue my other goals in life which otherwise I wouldn’t be able to pursue without having access to adequate funds.

I think this is why I see big chunk of my happiness in career advancement and wealth .

I like old saying “Think Big, Enjoy doing little things...”

Many Thanks

The answer is simple: The faster you help a few million people the faster you will become a millionaire.

Hey MJ, great answer !

But I still blive that in order to reduce the risk and speeup the process, I will require to have basic understanding of Business/money making system and do all that background reading/research before I invest huge amount of my time and efforts into making millions of other people happy and be helpful to them.

I do truly believe in education I don’t say its everything, but I see it as smart and organized way of quickly mastering some subject.

So which one do you think might help me speeding toward my goal?

Thanks

I agree with MJ.

If you put yourself at the center of the getting rich circle, you probably will get rich slower.

If you can reach out to million people and get a dollar from each one of them, you will be a millionaire.

Well heres my .02 cents

I agree with your decision on educating yourself first before starting up. You want to reduce the amount of mistakes you make, however have you ever heard of the expression -"Learning on the Job."? You can educate yourself by starting up your business and learning from each step you take. Those lessons are ones that you cannot learn from a book but are the ones that you will remember for the rest of your life.

Best of Luck,
Lamboman
