Hey.... sorry it took me a million years to get back to you! I've been really swamped!!!
The two basic choices are stick frame with metal siding (cheaper, doesn't last quite as long - - - but lasts.... long enough!!!) or Metal. Metal buildings can also be purchased - prefab. Those are more expensive - but sturdier. If it is just for personal use, I would suggest stick frame.

Hey Sonja,
I know this is not fastlane, but I would like to build some self storage for myself in my side yard. It is an area of about 10 X 38. The units (I was thinking 3) need to be no wider than 5 feet. What materials would you suggest or better yet, where can I look for the best materials to use?
