What you're seeing is HIGHLY edited...
The final table lasted about 250 hands, and over half of those hands were heads up (the longest heads-up match in WSOP history). Yet, they only showed 2 heads-up hands.
He started heads-up with a 2:1 chip advantage, and about two hours into heads-up, I was within one hand of winning it...in fact, he played horribly for those first two hours. He knew he was an underdog and we actually made a deal during heads-up that gave me a $250K payday instead of the $180K it was supposed to be.
Unfortunately, he drew out on me in what likely would have been the last hand of the tournament, and then made an amazing comeback. Then, he completely mixed up his strategy, and started playing some great poker. He deserved to win it...
I find it funny that they chose those two specific hands to show heads-up...didn't make me look very good...
