After re-reading this thread I have to say that some of my thoughts might be immature... hmm..while reading some of them I saw that I'm definitely still real young and inexperienced.. and stubborn! :P But I hope that is part of growing up.. Runum, Russ and Salinger were really insightful and do noticed things about me that are correct and that is kinda strange to me...

This was definitely good discussion! Some great advice here!

One of the great things about this community is we come from different perspectives: men, women, younger, older, richer, poorer, retired, rat racers, etc.

And through our discussions, we begin to understand each other better.

This thread helped me understand you better, Gymjunkie (and I say that in a good way, even if my posts on this thread are pretty confrontational). And perhaps they helped me understand myself a bit better, too.

Thanks for the bump on this Russ.... I missed it the first time around,

This is a really good READ.

I think... because it encourages us to look into ourselves ..... such as I see myself:

Gym........ 20's .... Kick a$$

Lauren......30's .... Retired in my 30's

Russ.........40's .... Went back to work in my 40's

Runum......50's .... Gained some wisdom

It seems that the human psyche can range the gamet from " Tiny Tim" to " Darth Vader"

MANY thanks .... MJ ... Russ ... and the other Mods for providing us with such a superb forum...... where else could you read something like this??

Awwwwwwwwwww... you might say... your're being sentimental

True.............. but that's what life is all about.

Merry Christmas - and a healthy....happy and prosperous New Year ... to one and all.

Lets make this the BEST YEAR OF OUR LIVES!

Signed,

Tiny & Darth .............. alias...............Cat

Thanks Russ, for bringing this discussion back up. I still find it weird to read my old posts on some threads. Kinda like being in the third person and watching me talk.

Gym, kudos for you for not losing your cool and taking a hike. You will go far in life.

Cat, thanks for the kind words. I wish you well over the holidays and 2010.
