Greetings from the Fastlane!!
![]() I started this forum because I am passionate about teaching others the Fastlane to financial freedom. There is a saturation of Slowlane advice being dispensed in the media and it propagates a myth, a lie, that you need to whore decades of your life away to become rich. This isn't so. Frustratingly, there are published authors, people who I might meet one-day, who preach the Slowlane as its some revolutionary new gospel, while they, get rich in the Fastlane. It is hypocrisy. That is why I chose to write a book and start this forum. To expose this myth and to help others realize that acquiring massive amounts of wealth only takes years, not decades. I love sharing what I have learned with others. I love setting people on a path that they didn't know existed. I decided to do this, rather than offering consultation services because if I can create a community, or publish a book, I can help millions of people at a time, instead of just one person at a time. Also, I am practicing what I preach: Authoring is Fastlane. Because I have decided to start this forum, and write this book, I am unable to answer PM's about any individual idea or questions about executing business strategy. Understand that this decision was made because I do care about your financial future. I am dedicating my time to helping you - and millions of others like you. For my ideas, watch for articles on the sister site, my posts here, and... of course... the book! If you are interested in my input about your idea, I encourage you to post it on the forum. I do a pretty good job responding to EBusiness threads .... the community here has been known to give amazing feedback on countless ideas and I'm not the only one who has input that carries incredible value. The reason for this is simple: I have a book to write and the faster it is finished, the quicker you can get on the Fastlane path. Thank you!!! ~ MJ

![]() yunghova35, that's like asking when Warren Buffet's next book is coming out, when you're around him on a daily basis. (rant over) If you look at where MJ starts a thread, you will have previews of what's going to be in the book. Example: Do You Have a Successful Entrepreneurial Premise? In the meantime, stick around, relax, and learn from MJ as we build this amazing community! ![]() -Russ H.

If you have to ask, you havent been following MJ's posts on this forum long enough.
I GUARANTEE you there will be a wealth of information that hasnt been printed elsewhere, laid out as clear as day if youre truly willing to listen and take action. An honest to God Truth and a well deserved compliment; I learned more from reading Mikes RANDOM posts on an INTERNET CAR FORUM over the years, then I did in a lifetime of listening to bad advice, and 6 years of higher education that taught me to excel at working for someone else. About 4 years ago, my path changed drastically when I realized that I wanted something better...and that no one was going to hand it to me. Thank you again MJ, I am doing my best to follow your path. ![]()

By the way Mike (Lightning), how are the houses doing, you have 2 now, correct? Glad everything is working out (man what a story about your journey too - from selling the favorite toy for a smart investment) What's the next step?

Things are going really well. Still have the two houses, I am happy to say that even in this down market, the rental already has about 50k in equity in it, so I definitely cant complain! I definitely lucked out with my tenants, they are very neat and have paid rent early EVERY month so far with no problems. I am actually trying to buy a third as we speak, but this credit industry is driving me nuts. Even with a stellar credit score (770+) and a solid 10%+ down payment, I am having a hard time getting pre-approved. We'll see what happens though. Selling my Trans Am last year was honestly the smartest move I have made. I miss that car like crazy sometimes (it was my "stress-reliever" for when I just wanted to cruise and get out for awhile!), but I dont regret the decision. The money from its sale was the biggest "stepping stone" i have had to date, and it opened up doors for me that would never have been available (including a few decent investments in the stock market, getting out of dept COMPLETELY, as well as the down-payment on that second house!). Someday, I hope to look back and remember that sacrifice as the move that helped me get started on my trek towards the fastlane. ![]() Thanks again! Sorry for the mini-hijack MJ!!!
