Not sure if this has been posted before . . . but it looks like a nice bike for those of us who are getting older (and fatter, and don't heal as quickly, but have more money . . . )

I see those three wheel things all the time. I don't know much about them, but 3 wheelers never seem to take off. Its been done many times in the past but has never caught on.

Something more interesting, IMHO if you don't want a bike.

I saw one of those last year at the coast. Researched it and for the money it is a fail safe bike for any rider.
I don't like all of the safety features on it. Takes the fun out of it. If I can't light the tire up for more than x number of seconds, not too interested. I also don't like the idea of a computer correcting for my lack of driving skill.
All in all it would be a cool addition to the toy category!

Interesting. I can see their market. I stopped riding when I had a close call where, for all intents and purposes, I should have died.

Went out and bought a Porsche. Had 2 before switching over to the Karmann Ghia and mustang 'verts.

Miss the wind in my face, though.

Wow what happened? I should have died last week on the hwy going to Denver, came very close to hitting a car going 80. The person just left there vehicle in the middle lane with hazard lights on, a semi was in front of me so I couldnt see ahead and road curves where he left it. Semi moved over to the right lane, it was just sitting there in front of me and I was closing in on it so fast barely had time to react I pulled left and went around him fishtailing and tires screeching , I missed it by probably 4 ft, if a second later I'm positive I would have smashed into him. Got very lucky that night.

Yup. Know that feeling.

I thought I'd gone into detail here about my close call, but searched and can't find it.

Here's a short version:

Was on the way back from Big Sur when a dump truck lost part of its load in front of me.

And there was a fully loaded dump truck next to me that locked its wheels and started to skid into my lane.

A large factory gate (cyclone fence, about 8' x 12') w/3" steel pipe was the debris that I first hit (my front tire hit the pipe).

Should have thrown me over.

Instead, as I hit the debris, I gunned the bike in terror, and wound up hopping over all of it, Evil Knieval style.

Landed, rear wheel broke traction and started to slide away from me, and again, in terror, I righted the bike by gunning it.

It was not intentional--purely fear/reflexes (kinda like a flinch, w/the throttle lever).

Had no experience to do this.

Didn't even ride dirt bikes. Had never dealt with "close calls" of going sideways, jumps, etc.

Never even came close to grinding the pegs on corners-- if anything, I took them too upright, since I was afraid of falling over!

Have no memory of what I did the next 10 minutes after I hopped over that stuff (I was riding on the highway, just can't remember it).

When I did "come to", I pulled over, found a pay phone, and called my brother (who has put more than 100,000 total miles on his bikes).

That was my last ride.

Omg talk about adrenaline rush lol....Feels good but scary after things like that, I felt my heart skip a beat after my close call, the relief after wards and knowing how close it came is a good feeling. Not something I'd like to experience again though lol.

it's amazing how intuition can keep us alive! i think smart people are more likely to survive such scenarios than most, and your smartness kicked in, most people would have tried to brake instead of speeding up! Glad you made it! Love bikes too, but not for me either.
