Did anyone else find the Super Bowl commercials severely lacking?

And please, when is GoDaddy going to give it up. It hasn't been funny in a few years. IT'S GETTING OLD.

I agree on both points. I thought the snickers comercial was alright though.

For those that missed them...

Ya' know? I actually loved the e*Trade commercials. Nothing that will really stick in my mind, but they were are pretty good.

Ditto on the Snickers ad. You have to love Betty White! And I liked the dig on Leno/Letterman.

The Doritos Ninja ad was funny, as was the Bridgestone Orca ad. I also had to giggle at the Punch-Bug ad with Stevie Wonder.

Coke sucked. And I was really ready to choke a little chicken for the folks at Denny's.

Bud even was pretty flat on the funny stuff, although the beer house was OK.

And MJ is right on the money with Go Daddy. The rest were forgettable at best.

I don't know why, but I liked the one with T-Pain. It would be funny if everyone talked like that.

I liked the one with Brett Favre winning the (holographic) 2020 MVP award trying to decide if he was going to retire... classic.

MJ... totally agree with Godaddy, extremely lame and dated.

My favs:

1) Brett Favre, 2020 MVP
2) Two of the doritos: The one with "1. Don't touch my momma and 2. don't touch my doritos", and the one in the gym with the crazy guy in doritos armor.
3) the two Bud Lite LOST ads
4) e*Trade on the airplane
5) Leno/Letterman/Oprah

Misses for me:

1) GoDaddy
2) We wear no pants...
3) Cars.com or whatever it was
4) Betty white Snickers ad
5) Boost Mobile shuffle

They were all pretty bad by previous Superbowl standards....

At this point, the GoDaddy commercials are part of their brand... Not sure it would work if they veered off course and took hot chicks completely out of their ads! haha
