One thought I had was to build this little community of mobile homes near this local college town. I would rent out the MH to the single moms. The community would be designed to help them get their lives straightened out. If they needed more education and transportation we would provide a shuttle van service to the college. If they needed a car I would find a used car and let them pay me out for it. The moms could help with the day care of each other's kids while they are in classes. I would also have on site laundry services available. Definitely have an outdoor play are for the kids.

Not sure if it would even be legal, but sounds like a good idea.
But what about the single dads?

Also how would you go about only keeping the deserving parents there?
Why was I put on earth? I don't know. It is something I have wondered, and I guess I will find out soon enough

.
If there is one thing I would like to do to help in the future, it would be to help the kids...especially the ones without any positive role models(which seems to be a growing number, at least from what I have seen). I can't really feel sorry for most adults in bad situations. If you they have a legitimate reason for being in that situation, that is one thing. However, most have no good reason.
I think it is pretty sad that we still have kids walking around with no shoes or shoes that are only half there, wearing no coats in the winter etc. The fact that in this great country some kids go to sleep starving, is a pretty sad fact to me as well.
I would love to be able to get children away from parents that have no business raising them and find people who would raise them properly, however I know that would be a huge waste of money and not much good would come from it. (not a political forum so I will leave it at that)
